Long before we proceeded to talk about projecting images on to this wall, there was a view that we used it to reflect ambient light, coming off form underside of the balcony on level 4 and the black perforated aluminium ceiling. The black slot you see on the ceiling is made out to support lighting fixtures at some future date, and also serve to extract air in case of fire. The black ceiling which is really RAL 7038 code has been constructed with tender loving care by Shinwa Metals of Malaysia based on details prepared by zlgdesign.

At this time the atrium wall has already been revised to allow visual porosity into the stores beyond it. The fial is yet to be built, with two layers of polycarbonate panels in front and backlighting system in between.
